The liberals are scoffing at this and calling it ridiculous paranoia but the underlining realization is that is actually true. Sure, it seems fairly innocent and most people will look right over the underlying tones of liberalism and just enjoy the movie as they do any other family movie; but the truth is that many of these movies have been pushing the same talking points the liberal Democrats have been for the last 5 years. Global warming, the rich vs poor, big oil…they’re all made to be inconspicuous negatives planted into the budding minds of the children that innocently watch these films.
This is the same thing public schools have been doing for decades. It is called indoctrination and it is a real thing. Do I believe it’s a serious red-alert threat? Not really, but it is being done. So, before you discount this as “typical Fox News fear-mongering,” do yourself a favor and think objectively for once and think of how you’d feel if the Muppets were casual pushing Jesus Christ in one of their movies and then you might see the point.
Speaking of which, here’s Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy sarcastically belittling Fox New’s allegations that the recent Muppet movie was brainwashing children to believe in a liberal agenda:Jeez, the don’t like Fox News…just like liberals.
